It could evolve that way. I'm ok if it misses. Scored decently last night, and tomorrow looks promising.
I see Talbot County just got a severe warning for the storms currently breaking up over the Bay ... Pretty typical for this area

I predict that those storms are gonna fall apart after hitting the Chesapeake Bay rain shield.
Don't worry I just cleaned my rain gauge, that should protect the Easton area from rain.

Still 85.
Too bad that line of storms is heading south of here.
Looks like the Bay is making the line fall apart.

91 here.
I have been suspecting my DP has been reading a bit high... 70 right now. Not totally out of whack, but most other obs are in the mid 60s currently.
Could be corn sweat. My DP went from upper 60s to low 70s this afternoon.

Highs for today 93/79/110

If anything our humidity seems to be increasing lately with proximity to warming bay/ocean etc. 94/78 on the reg woo. ;p
Yeah Maryland summer is starting to remind me of summer in Louisiana. It was always a nice slap in the face when the low temp was 80 with 100% humidity. Sweating becomes a way of life.
88.3/70.4 currently on the shore.

Some sort of mesolow right over central DE which appears to be spinning on radar.
Is it an artifact from Dover's radar since it is located there

Hearing lots of thunder. There is major action to the north, to the east, and now to the west of here. And all converging on this general area. It will be interesting to see if it can all manage to miss lol.
We know this old song and dance...bring on the drought

84.4/76.8...gross

High of 91.4, still holding around 90, once that wind died the temps bumped up 4 degrees quick

94.3/70.9

Some localized flooding just east of Williston in Caroline County, 2.8" of rain in less than 1.5 hrs.

That seems high. 86 here currently.
Your sensor in direct sun?
Or maybe its the Goldsboro UHI.
90.3 in Easton. It is in direct sun here, but my sensor has a shield.

Looks like Easton may get hit pretty good, looking at the trajectory of that line of storms crossing the bay.
Yeah, no. Typical for this year, storms look good and then fizzle. 0.0, still only 2.99 for the month.

1.81", 1.3" fell in about 30 mins, rained for almost 6 hours. 2.97" for the month.

Crazy thunder. Booming and rumbling and propagating from multiple directions. Still in the hole! I think I saw a few drops though.
Have fun, just got 1.35" of rain in less than 30 mins in Easton, instant flooding.

Having fun standing here at the end of my driveway watching the lighting, listening to the booming thunder, and seeing torrential rain falling from this bad boy, literally a couple miles to my west.
Everything is forming on an axis just west of here, and moving north, for now. Not optimistic. At least it clouded over for a bit, temporarily blocking the searing sun from further burning my grass.
I know the feeling...going to be harvesting popcorn around Easton this year if we don't get some rain, sitting at 1.0" for the month.

Low to mid 80s isn't a bad summer day, few pop up showers forming
-
0.42" today puts me at 0.59" for the month, could use a few more showers down this way
-
Summer is here 78.8/75.3
-
0.12" yesterday and 0.04" today, 0.16" two day total, I'll see myself to the drought thread
