It could evolve that way. I'm ok if it misses. Scored decently last night, and tomorrow looks promising.

I see Talbot County just got a severe warning for the storms currently breaking up over the Bay ... Pretty typical for this area

I predict that those storms are gonna fall apart after hitting the Chesapeake Bay rain shield.

Don't worry I just cleaned my rain gauge, that should protect the Easton area from rain.

    91 here.

I have been suspecting my DP has been reading a bit high... 70 right now. Not totally out of whack, but most other obs are in the mid 60s currently.

Could be corn sweat.  My DP went from upper 60s to low 70s this afternoon.

If anything our humidity seems to be increasing lately with proximity to warming bay/ocean etc. 94/78 on the reg woo. ;p

Yeah Maryland summer is starting to remind me of summer in Louisiana.  It was always a nice slap in the face when the low temp was 80 with 100% humidity.  Sweating becomes a way of life.

    88.3/70.4 currently on the shore.

That seems high. 86 here currently.

    Your sensor in direct sun?

Or maybe its the Goldsboro UHI.

90.3 in Easton. It is in direct sun here, but my sensor has a shield.

Looks like Easton may get hit pretty good, looking at the trajectory of that line of storms crossing the bay.

Yeah, no. Typical for this year, storms look good and then fizzle.  0.0, still only 2.99 for the month.

Crazy thunder. Booming and rumbling and propagating from multiple directions. Still in the hole! I think I saw a few drops though.

Have fun, just got 1.35" of rain in less than 30 mins in Easton, instant flooding.

Having fun standing here at the end of my driveway watching the lighting, listening to the booming thunder, and  seeing torrential rain falling from this bad boy, literally a couple miles to my west.

Everything is forming on an axis just west of here, and moving north, for now. Not optimistic. At least it clouded over for a bit, temporarily blocking the searing sun from further burning my grass.

I know the feeling...going to be harvesting popcorn around Easton this year if we don't get some rain, sitting at 1.0" for the month.
