If some redevlopment happens I think 2" is doable here, but definately need some better rates.
-
Pixie dust ++ now, looks like decent rates about to cone through from wye mills to ridgely. Heaviest still queen annes north, Chestertown definately the place to be for this one.

The late south trend on guidance is going to bust. NS systems rarely work out here. The places that were progged to get the best lift over the last several days are are getting it. My wag is the forcing for this afternoon will be less expansive than guidance is depicting, and probably not as impressive as what is occurring over N central MD now.
Agreed, but definitely still a south trend, I was initially <1.0". Radar is filling in some down to Federicksburg, VA so hopefully some development happens down to st marys and calvert, which usually is a good indicator for Talbot. Looks like cross hairs fron Annapolis to Marydel with the heaviest band coming across now.

1.5" in Easton, send some of those snow rates across the bay!

The HRRR has picked up on the zone of nothingness that didn't seem to be present on any model I looked at this morning. Looks like the best forcing will shift over towards DE this afternoon. Hopefully we will get in on the edge of that. Latest HRRR halved snow totals for my yard lol.
We seem to always maximize the zone of nothingness during these events.
You might be able to get on the back edge this afternoon, I think I am a bit too far southwest, but a lot of time for things to unfold still.
Hopefully we can get at least one true southern slider where we are not sitting on the edges.

Ofc Dover radar is down again lol.
Pretty much status quo for that site.
Pixie dust now in Easton. Just cleaned off the cars, probably 1.5". Hoping to get to 3" but radar is not looking very exciting for the midshore. Hopefully our DE friends can score this afternoon.

Radar looks very similar to HRRR, hopefully the progression is the same as that depicts redevelopment for our area starting around 9 am.

Around 1" in Easton, heavier bands cycled through early, hopefully it builds back again, light snow now. 29.7

I thought I would be ahead of it on the drive in. Came in hot and heavy. Despite all the salt, roads caved immediately and visibility was low. Snow became notably lighter towards Easton.
Except for Kent County the radar has broken up across a lot of the Eastern Shore, hopefully heavier stuff builds back.

Light flurries right now at my house in Lewes
I was wondering if any of that was making it to the ground. Some radar returns near Easton as well but just virga.

Looks like 1" to 2" for most of us @CAPEseems to have the best chance to see 3"

17.2, insulated by the breeze across the bay

Let's reel in another nice event Friday. Maybe temps won't be as much of an issue

Looks like a long shot for now, MD/PA border seems to be where the event on Friday is targeting.

A little back edge snow in Easton as the coastal pulls away.
-
Must be a good amount of black ice on the highways, Rt 50 near Trappe shutdown east bound and 301 near Centerville shutdown north bound.
-
2.0" total in Easton, nice glaze of ice now from a few rounds of freezing rain, 29.7

Looks like @CAPE good vibes held the snow line down here in Easton, still mostly light but had a few decent bands, just crossed 2", forcast verified, Mount Holly can rest easy

I dunno man. Radar looks pretty decent to the SW. Better than depicted on most guidance. Probably another couple hours of steady light snow.
I'm on the edge of dry line running through Easton, real fine pixie dust, just north of me looks good, unless something builds south, pretty sure any real accumulating snow is done. Cordova up north to you look to be in a good spot.
-
Looks to be winding down here in Easton, 26.2, somewhere between 1 and 2". Good luck all you western shore folk.

The trends across guidance today have not been good for here overnight. Less and less precip. Hope I can break an inch lol.
Unless we get some surprise bands 1 to 2" looks to be max, might be close to 1" in Easton, 26.8 with pixie dust still falling

26.8, light snow, somewhere between 0.25 and 0.5"
