Looks like we are about to transition into a soggy period. It's amazing how quickly it can switch to dry/wet. There have been a few fires burning again with it being dry for most of February.

Didn’t it just rain like yesterday? I’m pretty sure it was pouring at my house.

Epic epic fail for long range models and teleconnection forecasts. Hard to be rock steady for a month then crack the week of. I do not know how to break out of the pattern we’re in or just accept the climate is not what it was 30 years ago or heck, even 10 years ago.

Climate change/global warming at its finest. It is what it is.

Not only is this our second snowless winter, it’s also looking like the second winter where the roads were never once brined. Keep in mind they’ll brine the roads here if 1 hour of freezing rain is expected, if that puts this into perspective how bad it’s been

At least it saves the taxpayers some money.

I’m okay with a torch before we get blocking later in February. Euro weeklies showing game on after mid month. We just need an inch or 2 to claim victory and I think we will get it. It’s tough right now but we still have time to pull something off.

    .

Ehhh…Just give me 70 and sunny so I can pull out the golf clubs. I’m tired of the cold and dry or warm and wet this Winter.

Yeah this one is make or break for the morale around here I think.

The low level warm air advection will ruin any chance of snow even if we did have a system to track. Either that or convection along the gulf coast will keep qpf levels way down. It never fails.
