  1. All we really need is for the coastal low to be 50-75 east
  2. Yeah sadly as of now it’s looking like snow to rain/sleet mix. This is why none of us got excited when the euro gave us 2 feet yesterday
  3. Disappointing to get 6 inches but then have it washed away with rain. Still plenty of time for things to change. Really need the coastal to stay offshore
  4. Yes we need the coastal to stay offshore, not come up the bay
  5. Euro looks meh. Great front end thump. The coastal is too far inland. We change over to rain
  6. Yeah even the euro gives us more tomorrow. Maybe we get an inch or two out of it
  7. Same. Hoping the UK and Euro will save us. Would be awful if the EURO caved to the GFS
  8. Well the GFS was bad too. Primary is too far north, into Ohio. Some light snow then change over to rain
  9. All options are on the table at this point. I’m not going to look too much into the ICON
  10. ICON has primary going too far north into Ohio. Transfer is slow. Snow to rain event verbatim
  11. We all get nervous about the rain snow line around here. I’ll be focusing more on the UK and EURO which are nice hits so far. We will always have concerns over mixing issues. That’s just our climo
  12. Yeah the HRRR seems to agree with the GFS. I think a consensus is 1-3 for NC. The GFS is putting down down 7-8 inches for parts of NC. That seems extreme but we’ll see
  13. 6z GFS still wants to gives Danville and parts of NC 6 inches from Thursday’s event. Really curious to see how that works out. NAM says no
  14. 00z EURO wasn't as good as the epic 12z but still a good hit for RVA. Rain and mixing for Hampton Roads.
  15. 00z gfs was bad for everyone. Transfer is too slow. Both para and op GFS still wants to give southern Va and NC good hits on Thursday. 1 inch here in Richmond
  16. He must be looking at the GFS. Not saying the EURO is right but it is a lot better with East coast snowstorms than the GFS
  17. Will be looking at models to see which one handles Thursday’s event the best. GFS has heavy snow in NC. Not sure I buy that. CMC is lighter and EURO is the lightest
  18. 18z para still giving us the middle finger. More snow all around us but not much here. It was an improvement from the 12z though
  19. Haha are there any models out there giving us more than inch on Thursday?
  20. It’s great to look at but...we’ve been here before
