but sandy was just a more well rounded storm
in addition to the rainfall totals and surge we saw 3 feet of snow in west virginia. florence isn't going to do that
i'm just curious about the actual observation of 77mph sustained. i know there were gusts above hurricane force but i was not aware of any one location actually recording true hurricane conditions.
