I will be back once the sanity returns .
I guess you forgot you're only allowed to talk about torches and how every MJO phase is now warm for us

I vaguely remember that one being more of an overnight system while I was living in Bethesda, though I might have been at my gf's place in Arlington for that particular one.
Here's the radar loop from it...looks pretty healthy:

I've had snow the 2nd week of April that accumulated and stuck around for 36 hours. March is a winter month, period. Maybe not deep winter or peak climo but that's like saying late Nov or early Dec snow sucks.
March snow is worlds better than January rain, just saying.

Pretty sad it's only 1/12 and we're scratching the rest of Jan and rightfully so. At least it's not blow torch/60s and sunny...
36F/light rain
That sounds better than what we have had recently...these cloudy/cool days are just depressing.

Didn't feel like reposting this entire thing but the pattern progression and move to a less hostile PAC and colder air reestablishing is still on track. Mid Jan forward buckle up:
Thanks for the optimism Ralph...this winter reminds me of 2019-2020 so far. Hopefully we can half a decent storm at some point.

Yeah, I think we’re better off over here. Some people are trying a little too hard over there, including the moderator.

Hopefully and softball size hail, depends on how much sun we receive this afternoon. But probably receive the standard blast of wind, downpour and possibly some thunder/lightning. Some areas more severe than others...
