The southern half of CC appears to be doing better than the northern half. So hopefully Runman is doing well. There are areas just north of me that have nothing.

I just got my internet working again. I got about 2 inches. It was a letdown when you consider what we could have potentially had, but I'm happy to get at least that much to start out the winter.

Up to 37 now as temps are torching at every level. Hopefully this is the last push of warmth from the system. It looks like Crossville may be falling and they had "precipitation" rather than rain last I saw.

John, is it still just rain at your place? I'm still seeing a mix of sleet and rain IMBY.

I always feel like MRX ignores its Northern Plateau counties unless it absolutely has to mention them. That's several discos in a row where we aren't mentioned at all even though around 115,000 people live here.

I was getting ready to come on here and mention this. I thought it was strange that the northern plateau isnt getting any discussion. It's hard to tell if they are grouping the Plateau with the lower elevations or the higher elevations group.

Yeah, man.  Climatology makes it tough...but hoping I can at least drive to see some in the mountains.  On another note, the Vols may have a couple of cold home games coming up.  We face UK's vaunted defense and their great rushing attack w Snell.  Really hoping that we can make a bowl game.  We need the practice.

FYI, Kansas and Tennessee are both in the NIT-tipoff on 11/21 and 11/23.  UT opens with Louisville.  Kansas opens on the other side of the four team bracket with Marquette.  If both win or both lose, they will face each other.  I hope UT gets a win over Louisville and then gets a shot at Kansas.  The biggest thing, win or lose, is getting this team big game experience against quality out-of-conference opponents.

Runman, remind us again of what elevation that you are at...

The highest point on my property is around 1380 feet.

You should definitely see an uptick in winter weather vs Knoxville, depending on the elevation you live at, a pretty decent one if it's above 1500 feet.

I'm a little bit south of downtown La Follette. My driveway starts at the top and goes down into a valley where my house is. I think the entrance to my driveway is around 1400 feet.

  6. Good afternoon,  everyone. It's been a little while since I last posted on here. I'll be posting more as winter comes closer. I also want to give an update as far as where I live. I live near La Follette now, so any reports on current conditions I post will likely be in that area.
