My buddy is wondering if there is any chance this RBNY vs PHL Union game takes place. Thoughts?

Just goes to show you the pre-season forecasts, much like in sports, mean absolutely nothing. Tough going this year folks BUT areas like New England are very nice and worth moving to for more consistent snow action.

Still crazy that it hasn't snowed and is looking like it might not at all this year. I'm happy for my friends and family who said winters been alot more bearable this year due to less harsh temps and no snow but there's a good amount of people who enjoy the stuff, like my buddy MB. Hoping he can get something worthwhile at least.

I know most people are enjoying the mild winter but I think the snow crowd deserves a break at some point. Unreal there's basically 6 weeks left and there's been basically no snow!

I'm in Croydon I think. Plain rain

Ten day blizzards don't happen. Everyone knows it but falls for it every time. Give it til Sunday to dial back in if it doesn't then it's done

I'll be up next week boys. No one wants to see a snow storm ten days out. If you want snow this needs to disappear off the models for four days and come back

Lol snow in orange beach I'll believe it when I see it

Not much on the horizon, quiet times it seems.

Man I can't wait until we ditch this cold snap. I'd like to get some days on the water in December and bag some red snapper before it's too late

Checking in folks as I'm a huge fan of tracking snow and watching it fall, but anyone who's anyone knows I'm not a fan of being cold. I'll be up for Christmas so I'll be paying attention. Cold snap has been bad down here in coastal Dixie as well with temps around 35-40 at night and 50-55 during the day. Hopefully the citrus trees survive, been seeing them pop up on trees lately. I would of guessed citrus trees would ripen in the summer but I guess I'd be wrong. Looks like we'll swing upwards to 65-70 again in a week, God willing. Even the midwest snow birds are cold down here right now!!!

quiet around here but that's good since if no one is interested in talking the storm must not have killed anyone or damaged much

I live in orange beach Alabama. Are there any mountains within 5-6 hours where I can get a cabin for a few days?

They were told to leave
Some people can't leave for various reasons. Unfair to assume someones situation if they are stuck in it. My largest client is in ft myers and certain folks had to stay in the area for work. Everyone can't leave

on the lee county ems/fire line so many people requesting rescue, someone was in a vehicle that was sinking but whoever called it in got disconnected. sad

We can pretend to be grateful about the eastern eyewall being incomplete on the main thread, but my inner weenie wants that eyewall fully encircled by stronger returns so badly.
Some people don't have to pretend since they actually live in a place that gets hurricanes and feel bad for these people.....

The people who use words like great, beautiful, amazing, etc to describe hurricanes are not sensitive individuals. I can understand being fascinated by the storm as most folks are but don't humanize something so terrible. My 2 cents boys, hate me

Anyone know what the local key west scene is like this afternoon? I wonder what their high water mark from surge from this event will be.
Go to YouTube and search key west by live plenty of cameras

The people on Reddit tropical weather are annoying. I just felt the need to excercise my first amendment on that one boys

Oh yeah i'm firing up the IPAs and getting ready for a show tonight. Ian going nuts
I'm always fascinated to watch TWC during hurricanes but I moved to the front lines of them two months ago and now it's just stressful. I might drink a couple beers in another day or two when I feel for sure like I'm out of the woods.
Being from the north east, tracking snow was fun and mostly harmless. It's cool to see a city come to a hault due to a blizzard but they are mostly harmless. I don't want to live where there's blizzards anymore though so I guess I just accept at some point in my life I'll potentially lose everything due to a hurricane. It's my choice I guess so it is what it is

I went and stocked up on food and water and beer and gas in the florabama region but the noon time runs look more favorable for this area to avoid large impacts. Changes daily so staying vigilant but feel better about being prepared now and just a wait and see game for me now

Seems to me the models are shifting eastward. You should be in the clear. Curious to see what king euro does.
I'm a believer in the GFS so as much as I'd like to buy into the euro it's hard to. We really won't know until Monday I feel

Starting to think this is coming to the coast of bama. Sucks, literally just moved here. I'm in a rental and don't have a generator so I guess I'll be towing the boat and valuables and getting out of here and praying for the best. Stay safe folks
