1. Mainly snow still in Lewes, but it sounds grainy as it hits the house. At least 3-4" eyeballed. Nice storm so far, and love that it's colder than forecast
2. Ugh, much as I hate it, I'd rather have the plain rain instead of zr. No power outages, thanks.
3. I know I just reacted sad, but then again given what happened this week, I'm okay with it. What I wouldn't give for a storm like what this one was projected to be last Sunday..
4. WBOC said the rain is gonna wash away my snow. Blech. If we went through a week of tracking and I don't even get a snowpack out of it...
5.
6. Just off my shitty knowledge, ridge axis over Boise, 50/50 low, -NAO? but doesn't it look a bit like Boxing Day?
7. Don't sweat it too much, it really does come with age. Impulse control, frontal cortex and all that jazz. You're doing universes better than I ever was at your age, and I bet a lot of posters would back me on that. Keep learning, you could actually become a meteorologist one day, instead of running a crappy little Facebook page like I do
8. I'm paying attention since that map that buried me and @CAPE Y'all can have this weekend, we get next lol
9. Let's hope he likes next weekend better
10. lol the board would crash if the GFS is right about a follow up storm next week
11. you could give me 3 inches of sleet and rain from this weekend, if this is what we can get the following weekend.
12. Might need to wait for this storm to form and move out of the way before getting a clearer picture of what may come behind it. sounds like we still have some tracking ahead of us, which is great news.
13. https://www.weather.gov/media/phi/current_briefing.pdf latest briefing from PHI. High-impact storm, no matter what.
14. just to echo everyone else(again)...he's been a total asshat since WWBB days(2003 is as far back as i can remember), so that's 20+ year's of asshattery. ignore it and move on, your posts are amazing, and i am actually learning more about how the vorticity maps work from reading your posts than i have anywhere else.
