    @csnavywx @MillvilleWx is there also any sort of legitimate icing threat on the Delmarva, or is it more of a sleet issue?

    not remotely writing it off, per se, but adjusting expectations downward quite a bit from Monday/Tuesday. should have known better than to get that invest that far out. As of right now, still think the floor for this is at least greater than 0", maybe higher than that, but ill let a pro chime in. 0z runs tonight will indeed be telling(hopefully) with the new upper air data.

    The consolation is we seem to be entering into an active pattern, with more chances ahead, maybe its the reverse of 2010 and the 2nd or 3rd storm is the bigger one for us

    It does still seem to me that the floor for this event is still pretty high comparatively, even with the mixing threat.

    definitely nervous now, although still hopeful that the floor/worst case for this side of the bay is still a few inches even if we mix. just no big ice storm. power outages are no bueno.
