Sigh as I can't get a storm over my area to water anything over the past few days. The little bit that fell Saturday night was barely enough to dampen the ground.
Will have to give a good watering with the sprinklers later on unless something pops and crosses the area. My luck I finish both front and back and one storm makes it. So be it......

what are the best radar sites to be looking at right now, overnight and into the afternoon tomorrow?
I use this one. You can switch radars sites if needed.

What a roller coaster ride for NYC area with the teasing yesterday and last night of coming west to now go back east.

So we get some of the other models to come back onboard and the GFS still won't budge and looks even worse?
I just can't believe how different the #1 and #2 modes are doing with this with 2 days to go.

We had a lot of blocking that winter and managed 3 actual KU/ big events, though they were not all in the same areas; I got about 32 Boxing Day, 9 during the one that mostly affected CT, and 19 a few weeks later. Then it was over by then end of Jan.
Yeah we were on pace to break record and then nada for February and March. That January was the only time sidewalks looked like planet Hoth trenches, lol
Weenie in me hope it comes back but honestly with some recent health issues now I would settle for a few inches to just look like winter and not have to kill myself with the cleanup. You know it is bad when the snow blower acts like a walker for you. Oof

Think it was a full 48hours when it came back. I remember being at the bar and seeing it pop back up on models on my BlackBerry lol.
My bad as I am off an extra day so when I watched her the blizzard was back on maps and weather boards but she did not realize it yet giving forecast 24 hour prior to it.
-
Didn't Boxing day blizzard models two days prior go out to sea only to come back the day before.
I still remember Janice Huff saying an inch or two and was like wow you did not check the updates.

Full sunshine right now in south Old Bridge

Anyone have local amounts in southern middlesex county?
It really poured for 2 to 3 hours during the night and had to clean up some water in the basement as one of my window wells flooded and slowly seeped in.
Pool overflowed as well.Lawn is well watered for a few days so that is good

Yes and have been saving screenshots and radar loops.

I really need to get a rain gauge to have amounts for South Old Bridge in Middlesex County.
The air outside smells like I am right on the beach right now.
-
Fill in around me a little more and I become the eye of Sauron.
Going to be a wet night.
-
I have to stop looking at the loop as my eyes are playing tricks on me the more I watch it.
I do see a NW tick here and there but it is mostly N.

So the WAR keeps the heaviest remains of Fred west of tri-state area yet the possible upcoming system stays offshore and goes in New Egnland?
Or does that keep pushing west with each model run?

Looking like a special day for NJ south of 195.
Hoping to get something from that secondary line or else I have to put the sprinklers on.

Nice downpour with huge raindrops has made to it South Old Bridge.
Our area missed the rain last night but lawn and everything else is getting a good soaking now.
-
Spoke to soon for my lawn as barely any rain and died out for my area.
Stronger line developed east of me for places like Middletown, Red Bank, Rumson etc.....

Remember the drought lol
What a change since the Friday of Memorial day weekend.
I take whatever rain comes from Thunderstorms to not have to deal with moving the expandable hoses and sprinklers around the front and back of the house.

Just went over to sleet / rain in South OId Bridge, NJ.
Guess my area is done in Middlesex County but was nice to see when it lasted.

Nice trends for next event trending north overnight into tomorrow.
Was there another system for overnight Thursday into Friday? Or is that one now out of the picture for the area?

Yep, as we can't get anything over here either.
There was a brief pop up on the radar but it went poof.
