Looks like negative changes through 30. The placement of the southwest vort isn't much different, but less interaction with the northern stream, which digs less. Unless there's a huge shift in how things develop past the Mississippi river, early returns are not looking to support improvements.
It’s bad.

Tom has been there for 33 years. When he retires they should make Ava the chief meteorologist. I wonder if she is still there when Tom leaves if the station manager will have the guts to make that move. Not sure if he'll retire anytime soon though. He keeps himself in great shape and looks good for his age. I've always liked him a lot but Ava brings a different energy to the broadcast plus she is getting very knowledgeable with experience.
On a side note Bob Turk has been at WJZ since 1973 the year I was born. 50 year Anniversary for him next year. Unbelievable!
Isn't Bob Turk 114?.

I honestly have no use for local on-air Mets. Have not watched one in 15 years or more lol. I understand the typical non-weather geek does to some extent, but they have become largely obsolete, and need a social media presence to stay relevant.
The only one i trust for her expert forecasts, is Yanet Garcia.

I've DM'd them on Twitter and got this --
"We've been encountering a site issue specifically in the 1pm EST (sometimes 1am EST) hour this week. It's intermittent and we think we are close to resolving it (unfortunately we can only work on diagnosis when it actually happens). There isn't a fix on the user end at the moment, but we hope to be there soon."
So they know -- but they clearly haven't gotten there.
Lol, right when the Euro comes out. You would think with all the money they were making they could pay faster technicians.

And I think the sw in the sw is responsible for that. Get in early or get out completely. Either would be better IMO
Unfortunately it looks like the writing is on the wall. I'm just praying for 4" now with strong winds.

At this point, I think our best Orion might be to leave the southern sw behind altogether. I think it’s hurting more than helping
Orion is always the best option.
