GFS and ECM in agreement for a snowy week 7-11" area wide by next Saturday evening in two events.
When is the last time these two of oddballs agreed?
At 5+ days, too? Good signs, hopefully. Haven't had a snowfall that high since 2016.

Ended up with 1.43" of rain. Have 4.03" on the month now.

The European hates us, the American loves us, and the Canadian is hot and wet...like usual.

Being honest never heard the term rope.

I totally didn't just make that up. It's an official term. The AMS knows all about it.....

Pre-rope rain total is 2.40".
That's a lot!! I only have 0.89". However, I did just record a 52 MPH gust. The strongest wind since the tornado warned storm of June 2015 (57 MPH).

There's one of those ropes on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay as well, but it may pass west of here. A couple of gusts here were pretty strong, sounded like something landed on the neighbor's roof. Also saw a transformer flash off to the west. The thing is, the strongest winds aren't supposed to be until late this evening. Hold onto your hat I guess. Thinking I should make sure the generator has gas in it.
Probably a good idea. lol Hoping it gets worse. If I can't have snow in January, may as well have convection, severe thunderstorm warnings, and 55 degree temps.

North side. There's a line a trees, though, that sound like they're gonna lose some limbs tonight.

Winds are roaring. 15-25 MPH with gusts 35-40. Have the windows open to listen. Love that sound.

RadarOmega is also nice for mobile. RadarScope has a program for Windows and Mac, as well. Best bet for the price. I have GR3, GR2A, and RS for Windows. More than half of the time, I just open RS. And it's less than 10% of the price of the other two combined. lol
