Ugh...brutal. We’ve toyed with the thought of moving out, but that traffic ...
Other than commute and getting shafted on snow it's nice. Luckily I only need to go in 3 days a week

Living in waxhaw might be the worst place for people who like snow. Same thing every year!

Bless your soul with that traffic...
Haha. Nice 1 hour plus commute uptown daily. Maybe I'll see some snow when I go to work Monday or Tuesday

Been getting sleet off and on much of the day. I’m less than a mile from Union Meck border near 74. Ran to store earlier and there was a lot of wet snowflakes hitting windshield. Much harder to tell standing outside though. Heavier precip brings more mixing.
Yea it's hard to tell now it's dark. Everything is wet as shiit though.

Just a small bit mixing in with the rain. I'm in Steele Creek off of 160 about 1000 yards from the NC/SC line.
Thanks. I'm 5 miles south of 485 on providence. Still looks to be just rain

Any south charlotte or union county folks getting sleet yet

Can someone post maps of current 850 and 925
-
So much rain here in union county today. All the fake snow will melt!

Hope you are right Ryan

Nam 3k is damn close to all rain for north union...
-
Looks like northern union county might end up with just cold rain. Happens every time.
-
Where do you get the lose 925/850 maps
-
Hrrr looks good again for south charlotte. Snow through 9z
-
South charlotte looking to be more sleet/ice or just rain?
-

This reminds me of March last year. Models showed a DC storm and it kept coming further and further south. Ended up with close to 3 inches south of charlotte. Might have even been the same day. It was around March 10.
-
What's with the lower totals south of charlotte? Less precip or mixing?
-
Grits is 0z run

I do agree not much substance. But no less than half of the other posts... But it did directly relate to how extreme that member was related to the storm being discussed. I'll make sure to include a full analysis next time.

My bad for glancing instead of looking at the name....that post wasn't made by you. All of the bad posts start looking the same after awhile.
The one above this quote is yours....and was deleted.....still not appropriate for the discussion thread, as was your comment about unworthy posts in the discussion thread.
So specifically mentioning an ensemble member related to the thread is not ok. But saying things like 1988 and 1993 would good are ok. I'm just confused as to what can and can't be posted.

Did you really thing that talking about your upcoming vacation was appropriate in the discussion thread? Banter belongs here
Not sure I follow. I posted something about an ensemble member showing massive snow in Florida and how the temps on geps were way too cold (-13 in CLT).

Am I worthy here
-
Looks like 925s have dropped to zero south of Mecklenburg county now
-
Living 20 miles south of CLT sucks balls
