    It was a really unpleasant summer, followed by an exceedingly unpleasant fall. (You haven't lived til you burn the back of your legs on metal stadium stands.) I would love to see a good snow here this winter, as 2010/2011 was the last time I had something significant imby to cover the grass. And some extended cold to kill off more insects would be nice. But at least it's not hot, so I am thankful for that.

    I like all storms. Ice storms can be very beautiful. That said, I personally have not had a huge impact from any ice or frozen rain storms (yet). So I'd probably change my opinion if I went a week without power and heat.
