  1. I would think snow ratios will be a little better than 10:1 too. It won't surprise me if we pull off 1.5" here.
  2. Yeah who knows about later next week, but at least we know we have the light snowfall coming for tomorrow night into Saturday morning. NAM still looks pretty good. The Euro run that just came out gives us about an inch. The long range HRRR gives us about an inch. Our area still seems on track for a 1 inch snowfall. I want another big snowstorm, but the light snowfalls are nice too.
  3. 12z Euro is decent. Gives us almost an inch. Coating to an inch is a good forecast for our area right now. We'll probably have to wait until tomorrow night to get a better idea if it's going to be just a quarter inch coating or closer to an inch.
  4. Models continue to show some snow with the arctic front Friday night. Looks like a dusting to an inch, but we have a few days to go so maybe it will beef up a little bit.
  5. Had a high temp of 37 here today. It was nice to be able to go for a run outside this afternoon. Last week I used the exercise bike in the house all week because I don't like running in frigid weather. It felt pretty good out there today.
  6. 36 here. Temps overperforming a little bit. The models in the long range look mild for mid February. Quite a change. I think most people will welcome a warmer period after the very cold December, January and first third of February. I do want to see another snowstorm though, so hopefully winter will come back for later February or early March.
  7. 35 here now -- feels warm after what we've been through.
  8. Finally above freezing -- 33 degrees here right now.
  9. I was hoping to see a little something early Wednesday morning, but now it appears that it is going too far south. It looks as if our only chance of seeing a coating is with the arctic front on Friday with some snow showers. Maybe we can get a snow squall from that front.
  10. NAM gives us a little light snow from this. Right now nothing else looks as good as GFS, but hopefully some other models will come aboard. Still something to watch for a potential light snow event along with Friday.
  11. GFS and Euro have light snow for central and southern NJ early Wednesday morning. That's a little something to keep an eye on along with the clipper for the end of the week. No major storms but maybe we can pull off a coating to an inch or two from those potential events.
  12. Also the arctic blast coming in next Sunday looks extremely impressive. Maybe even colder than the one we're having now, which is crazy. It has been a long time since we've had a truly cold winter like this.
  13. The regular Euro has a nice clipper for next Friday into Saturday, but of course that's way out there.
  14. Got down to 5 here this morning. With the wind going calm tonight we have a good chance of getting down to 0, which would be the first time in quite awhile here.
