champy Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 It's been gnawing away at me, but I just have to ask...do any of the operational models get fed new data about how the storm actually took place? It brings me back to that whole "machine learning" thing (check out the PBS special on the Waston computer from the Jeopardy game shows). It was amazing when they can feed the machine raw data on what is actually correct and how it "adapts". I hope they do something like that with the weather models... Thanks!
