Silver lining guy that I am, if we're going back to 1920s/1930s Dust Bowl or 1950s multi-year droughts, well, they didn't have modern visible satellite imagery!

Just imagining the dry April frontal passages as this drought continues.

Of course the drought means boring weather. Not to mention fatal wildfires, massive crop failures, livestock losses. Almost all the trees in Memorial Park in Houston now loook to be either dead or distressed.

But, silver lining, a satellite picture, you can see the dust behind the front...
