Historical Precip. Data For ACK

monthly averages would work for now, but the more precise the info the better. it's for scallop growth, spawning and population fluctuations over the decades.

the monthly averages you can get for free. here's those #s based on the most recent 30yr period (this will update next year IIRC to include the 2000s):

NANTUCKET MEM AP (195159)
Monthly Totals/Averages
Precipitation (inches)
Years: 1971-2000

Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Annual
Average 3.86 2.69 3.05 3.18 2.82 2.36 1.71 2.13 2.94 3.17 3.33 4.19 35.43

if you want the actual historical month by month breakdown the northeast regional climate center at cornell university can provide it and it's cheap. you have to contact them directly...here's the link to their contact page:

just tell them you are looking for monthly precipitation totals for ACK going back as far as they have it available. they should be able to put that together for you.

That's fantastic, Phil. Thanks very much for looking that up. Have a great day. Cheers.
