  1. First wave shows up on the GFS with some light snow on the doorstep from about DC south
  2. Ah, that's right, the CMC did have that solution. I still have hope for a blend. A NEW HOPE. See what I did there? Sophisticated humor is my forte.
  3. I think the ICON is the only one showed this pumped up solution? Or was there other guidance? We'd like a blend of this and the southern scrapers.
  4. I thought so too! I never understand the bit of gloom and doom around here sometimes. It's like we're looking at two different set of models.
  5. Man, I just saw some of the pinkied (hidden posts). I blushed. And I'm black. At any rate, I think we ALL have a shot next week. I'm not so pessimistic anymore tbh
  6. Orientation of precip is a bit better on the 18z vs 12z for the second wave. Still dry over us for now. Not at the relevant time frame yet
  7. Light snow appetizer still on the 18z GFS. Just lighter than the light stuff we had in 12z
  8. h5 at 240 is intriguing. Mets and pro amateurs can probably extrapolate. I for damn sure ain't
  9. You tell me? All I know is it sucks that it's not there now
  10. s/w behind this is coming...just not sure if it's good or bad yet
  11. Yeah at 222, we all rain, except western MD and extreme Northern VA and western VA mtns. Sigh
  12. Nice storm, just too close to warmth it appears to me right now. Hopefully I'm wrong. N and W of upper Mont county is all snow
  13. Euro and GFS couldn't be more different at 192 at H5. Euro looks interesting. Just hope that wave doesn't get crushed or amplifies too much/quick
  14. Euro vs GFS at 180 are definitely different. GFS dampened out the wave, the Euro still has a pretty solid wave over Texas
  15. Also notice that the TPV is further south on the Euro as well
  16. Still going (light) at 144. So looks like the GFS event, just a bit later
