  1. Good point. May be enough though there where they keep it a 110kt Cat 4 for the Advisory.
  2. Great to hear you and your family are safe, JoMo! Prayers continue for you and your city!
  3. Are you saying NWS HQ is not happy with the local WFO performance? I ask because I would find that baffling.
  4. I plotted the beginning and end lat/lon in Google Earth. The end point is about 10 miles from the AL border. It also shows the tornado traveling SW to NE. Based on this, it appears as if it was a separate tornado track.
  5. You would have been better off not posting anything. Don't come here at this point looking for vindication or sympathy. I don't think you will find it. There were several people that thought this was going to be real bad. The difference between them and you is that they have the proper tact while posting combined with a critical scientific breakdown of the potential.
  6. This was posted on the Talkweather board, but uses the same color curve I had,
  7. The G2G on the tornado just east of Tuscaloosa hit 240 kt, maxing out my color curve on GRLevel2. Never seen anything like it.
  8. I echo the sentiments about TWC coverage. It was fantastic. I didn't turn it off TWC for almost the entire event which is something I can't say I have done in a long long time. They were at their best when the tornado was coming into north BHM. The calmness and professionalism they showed during that moment was incredible considering they absolutely knew the devastation that was occurring. TWC adding Norcross to the team has also been a plus. I was little surprised when he came on air last night, but it was good to see him on outside of tropical coverage.
  9. Near 70dbz debris ball in Tuscaloosa. There are no words....
  10. Tornado on the ground near Cullman, AL http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ABC-33-40-Main
  11. Nice gravity wave over MS/LA down into the Gulf. This may help to enhance development further south over MS and AL.
  12. Still don't think they've expanded the MDT risk far enough south. The threat for strong tornadoes extends into southern AL/MS.
