The models have trended a little North at 12z. Now we need a good happy hour to confirm/reinforce the North trend. And then 0z to bring us all the way back into the game.
Exactly

Nah tinder is all fake profiles these days

Any snow lover want to chase the storm? Preferably female.

I’ll settle for flurries

Not even in a nino still misses south. If it was a Nina it’d go ocean city

You get to choose
1. You get 2-4" knowing 50-100 miles south gets a foot plus
2. You get nothing and nobody else does but Tallahassee gets a foot of rain and a sleet pellet
2-4 is rare around here so 1.
If it was 1/4 inch like dec 26 storm years ago that busted then it would be much harder to choose. Went to sleep and even woke up that morning expecting at least 4-8" but barely got a dusting.

In Leesburg right now and snowing !!!

That is just the radar beam and the curvature of the Earth causing that. Radar beam is too low around IAD so it misses the snow/clouds nearby. Google "radar cone of silence"
Much more defined now. I live near lwx and not a flake in sight, but if you were to go outside of this snow hole it’s snowing in for example glen burnie. I believe the corn fuel theory or something of that sort.

Yep you’re right.

I think our last snowstorm in November had much better model agreement which is concerning.

Finally a hit. Still too much model disagreement for my liking.

Flip to rain?
Turned it on when yoda posted and it was snowing pretty good but tracked it on radar and it was about to shut off looks like the back edge moved through. Whitened the ground.

Need this one to happen was in Colorado for 2016 and they only got 6” around that time so I haven’t seen a real snowstorm since feb 2010. 8 years is too long.

4th day in a row stuck in the 30s . This month has no doubt been historical both in cold and the 11/15 snow storm here. Still snow piles left 15 days later from a November snow . One for the books
No snow piles anywhere in ashburn but was in Leesburg couple days ago and still snow piles in places. Crazy difference. They did report few more inches.

Looking at the 18z NAM, it has a warm bias, it's probably all freezing rain and sleet NW of I-95.
Great info makes a rainy day more interesting even though we will likely just have a slight glaze on trees.
December 9/10 Storm

That one storm idk how many years ago was supposed to bring 4-8 up until onset then went to pa instead and we got rain/sleet. Still holding hope for accumulating snow especially in a nino. 100 mile shift is all it takes and we’ve seen that happen we can get as much as Richmond is supposed to
