Weird that you know two people named Gill?

Almost up to 1/2" for the day. A nice soaker in a fairly wet week. Hard to find a dry day in the day 5 (on the GFS.)

Raining Apes over here! A whole Kingdom of 'em.

Here is rain to go from the 18Z HRRR (through Sat AM.)

Mostly cloudy with some sun and 67. No rain here at all.
I mowed Tue and my grass has not grown at all since then due to the lack of sun.

About .1 now and down to 58.

May 2023 through April 2024 was the warmest 12-month stretch on record with a global average temperature of 2.90 degrees Fahrenheit above the 1850 to 1900 pre-industrial average, the report found....
...The last time Earth recorded a colder than average year was in 1976 -- 48 years ago -- according to NOAA.

Thanks. Our 19th. I’m officially old I fear.
Yea, when your wedding anniversary is old enough to vote, you are not a kid anymore :-)

80 at 3:45. Today is our wedding anniversary. We got married in Texas and it was 98 that day. At least it’s not that hot here!
Congrats!

The first post is probably the run that stuck in my head - I thought I had read something about 3"+ - this was it. This would have been through this coming Friday.
Yea, back then it was showing a rowboat day on Thursday. It has backed off a bit though the CMC is still showing it at 0Z.

Oh no, like I said, I'm very likely remembering wrong. I did not go back to look either. I'm sure you're right.
I am not sure I am right though. LOL. But my intention for the most part was rain for the next 7-9 days (as of last week)

I just looked back and did post one EC Map through yesterday that was a little high in some areas. Had 1-2" lollipops around some less amounts. I think the rest of my maps and comments were supposed to be at least through Friday if not the weekend.

Based off my failing memory, some of the models late last week were way off on QPF amounts - I think @Bubbler86 had shared some different outputs of rainfall amounts in the 2-5" range through tomorrow. WPC's 5 day map had most of eastern PA at 1" or so - current running total since last Friday is .88" with some additional rainfall quite possible overnight tonight.
The maps I posted show 1-3" later this week though the days changed a bit through different runs. CMC and Icon still touting that and the GFS is a little down but still 1-1.5" to go through Saturday. I did not mean to post any just through Wed. My bad if I did.

Newish house with really good insulation. It got warm in here last week for that one night but ceiling fans and open windows made it bearable enough. It's a very nice 65 in here right now!
It would need to be in the 40's outside to get it down to 65 during the day here. Despite it being in the mid 60's outside it is 71 inside right now.

Haven't turned ours on yet and the next 7 days look very very springy which is awesome. We're in S Florida late next week though I might as well die.
It would have gotten into the low to mid 80's in here last week with no AC. You must have a lot of trees and insulation.

No AC since late on Friday. Coming on 72 hours worth of time....sweet for May.

Down to 47 here. Meso's promise quite the squall line tomorrow as we make a run for 2.5-3" over here (for the week.)
