Is this in NE Tennessee or Sevier Co? One of my good friends lives on top of Bays Mt in Sevier Co.

I think you are right, Carvers...that is the timeframe...guess the reference must be for anywhere in that forecast area. I don't specifically remember blizzard warnings being posted, but that has to be it. This link showed Mt. LeConte getting 32"..

Surprised SE Kentucky has never had a warning...but also the numbers don't seem to add up for NE Tennessee either. If my math is right, the last warning would have been about the first of November of 2012...I don't remember any warning that early. Does anyone remember that event?

Sure is, Carvers....I wanted to get a total before any settling and/or melting this afternoon.

Same here, 1234....we ended up with just a tad over 11 inches! Definitely a surprise for this early in December!

Where are you located, VolMan? Seems some of those against the mountains have seen less, but those toward Kingsport have seen the heaviest.
The models that showed the mountain shadow and the enhancements toward Sullivan seem to have done well.
Indian Springs....just outside of Kingsport....yes, the models seemed to have done well, at least some of them. It will be interesting to do a debrief later and compare results vs. different models.
