Ander420, Is in fact Quite Right If you seriously think about this. In todays Political Climate...
With ALL the Major media News organization(s) HYPING up this Storm, OMG End of the World is coming… After being called out & caught-up in many________, ending up with Egg in their faces for the Past Two years... Time after time..
Screaming, now, LISTEN to US! We are "thinking for you, AND then Tell you WHAT to think & Do" (It's for the Children you know)..
Gosh dern right the General Public at Large Will in fact Ignore ANY future Warnings.. Until it's to late...
Look at Memes All over the net concerning, & making fun of Jim Cantore, when He shows up before & during a Major Weather event..
Then there WILL be the reasoning that yes, in fact, MSN & Media are "earning" the Moniker of Fake News..
With that said...
Floyd dumped 19.50 +/- inches of Rain here in Wilm.. Ya'll remember what happened then..
I cannot Fathom 25~45 inches of rain with all the Development in the past 3~5 years in SENC..
Destruction would be on the Biblical Type scale.. Floyd AND Fran, times TWO...
And this is exactly why people saying things like that makes it so dangerous.

I guess if we had to pick a solution, that would be the one to take as it spares the most people. It would still be bad, but I'd consider it a small win none the less.

In the past I thought wunderground had maps that showed historical storm tracks that passed within a 100 miles of a current storms location. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find those maps anymore. Is there another site out there that has that info?

Another year and the same posts I remember.....Models keep shifting NW and delaying. Temps are too warm. This and that, the usual. I'm guessing we'll see an inch around RDU. I guess if we have enough 1" storms we can reach an average winter again.

Yep, I'm getting it as well. Our filter at work blocks advertising cause of things like this yet it's not any sort of ad being clicked on to make it happen. The website itself seems to be infected because it's happening when trying to change pages in threads. They need to scan their entire site for the threat. It's clearly stuck inside the code for the site somewhere.

Rather surprised that 58% here like all of them. You can't drive on that crap and you lose power very easily if there is more than a light glaze.

There's no way the eye is 140 miles wide. That would be greater than the distance from Wilmington to Raleigh which is only 114 miles.
