    Measured 2” about 20 min ago. Fort Loudon in Franklin county reported 3”. Highest amount that nws recieved so far.

    There’s an obvious sensor issue there. When temp spiked the dew point dropped all the way to 16. I notified CTP about it. When mine had a similar issue it was caused by a spider nest.

    2 Wawa’s going up in the York area as well. One at 30 and South Salem Church Rd, and another on Carlisle Rd (74) across from the Royal Farms in Shiloh / Dover

    I had 1.38” from the same storm at Fairfield golf course. Ended up with 2.69” at house.

    I’m at 26.58” ytd at my coop site. Most of that was front loaded with only around 5” the last 90 days

    It’s been a rough period but so far the irrigation systems have been holding up. Greens are in great shape at all courses. Thanks for asking. I’m definitely ready for fall!!!

    I make daily decisions whether to or not run the course irrigation so I strive on accurate data to make the best decisions for my job

    It’s a manual rain gauge that I helped install. I have a 4” stratus gauge at all three golf courses plus a few friends and obviously my set up here at the house which are all specked to meet National Weather Service guidelines. Final report was .21 Wayne Heights off old forge rd. .24 here and buddy in carroll valley had .29

    Hagerstown airport .18 I’m at .18 as well currently. Band is just about over.

    Have a spotter in Wayne Heights by golf course reporting .13 from cocorahs stratus gauge.

    In same band and I’ve managed.07” so far. Light rain at best here

    Just hit 2” here. Plow made first pass. Spotter reports 6” in Chambersburg. Could be slant stick measurement.

    Bub reports 1” amounts from spotters in Franklin county.

    No kidding. No thunder a few miles east. I’ve built my own network of cocarahs in Adams. Between me and a few friends I’ve talked into it, I have 7 rain gauge reports.
