Danny Neal

I am a pretty well known storm chaser within the chase community but have a relatively small ego/opinion of myself. I am always willing to chat with anybody about anything weather related and especially chasing related. 2011 will be my 14th year chasing. Along the way I have met hundreds of chasers and befriended many of them. If i can't help you with a problem, I can point you to someone who can. I encourage newer chasers to ask me every question they can whether it be about gear, forecasting, vehicles, or just my experiences. More often than not I will offer you an opportunity to ride along. My strengths are severe weather forecasting and mesoscale meteorology. I am not all that strong in winter weather forecasting or hurricane tracking mainly because I don't care for either. Outside of storm chasing and my meteorology schooling(Degree from College of DuPage), I am a firefighter/emt for the Village of Evergreen Park. I have been employed by the fire department since Oct. 2008 and love it. I am an outdoors-man as well. I love going out to the lake and fishing or camping whenever I can.
