Getting totally destroyed with lightning and rain here in Woodbury/Bethlehem. Lots of cloud to ground. Minimal wind here, but 50mph gusts just to west.

Tip’s sun angle definitely felt today. Was sweating actually driving…didn’t even need heat on
Tip's sun angle works great on the south side of structures. But the north side of my house is icy tundra. What makes it worse is that's the side of my property where the drainage occurs, so it's layer upon layer of ice build up on the sloped driveway, with very little melting during the day. I often wonder why people don't consider such things when they design homes (or why people like me buy those homes).
Give me one more blizzard (ice-FREE), or send me into May.-

Ya first day going significantly above forecast closing in on 40.. ice in driveway starting to melt nicely
Good meltage today. Getting tired of the ice and dirty piles around here. Don't hate me for that, but I'm ready to turn the corner after the last two weeks.

31 almost in Tolland. Looks like the bigger accretion might be done in CT.
I think we're done here. Then the heavy rains will melt the ice before the winds start pumping.

Creeping up. 28.2
28.2 here too. I was wondering why my wind reading has been 0. My anemometer is frozen solid.

3”. Seems like HRRR from last night was pretty spot on with changeover times. Sidewalk outside is iced up so definitely a period of FZRA. Sitting at 33F now.
HRRR nailed this precisely for my area.

Debating if I leave the 1/2 that is on the driveway or scrape it before the rain
I texted my plow guy and told him not to come. Gonna wait for the heavy rains to flush it out.

Temp dropping. Down to 25.8. Radar filling in to SW. This is going to be extreme.

I have never seen this much ice accretion. Rock solid 1/3" over everything. 2.2" snow.

It is really coming down . Not S+ but the kind where you rack up an inch or a bit more every
For us, it's all about getting enough tonight to preserve the damage the rain will do. If we end up equal, it's a win.

Yup. Need that to keep filling in. HRRR has it doing so.
