  1. Things looking more likely it seems now. WWA posted just south of metro after being just north the past times. Cruel joke but I think it will expand.
  2. The NAM says no though. I'd bet on the dry solution for now since it has verified so far. But, hope I'm wrong. It would be Sunday anyway so am off at least. Come on moisture.
  3. It's now virtually February, and I am thinking La Nina will win out this year. Sad. At least we had some cold. But, all the talk of a great western trough has vanished.
  4. So basically are we getting extreme cold again to where we can't have storms like December north of Austin, for that's what it sounds like to my untrained ear/eye.
  5. Line forming in Tarrant unfortunately just east of me. But, nice to hear thunder!
  6. After a few sleet pellets, dry. Not even a dusting. Got more with the flurries around New Year's. lol Congrats to folks south.
  7. Completely dry in north Fort Worth. Another hour and it's probably no go here. Not even a school delay. Dew is now down to 15 IMBY. .
  8. Looks like HP at 1051 as of 21Z. So less strong than some models showed still.
  9. Seems like the 17 HRRR is hanging back precip ever so slightly vs. 16 just a tad longer over DFW. It's going to be close, but some optimism today.
  10. Frustrating. But, still hope as we get closer to nowcasting. But, I’m planning on no delays on Tuesday for my school probably. It seems more often than not there is a shift a day before an event either good or bad.
  11. Am concerned DFW may get shafted again with any accumulation South. Hope NAM is wrong. I am glad the TH event looks dead. Have a yearbook work day. But, at least want 1/2 inch Monday night.
  12. Chris Robbins on FB mentioning mostly sleet to snow, fairly light, but enough to cause hazardous roads.
  13. Euro moves decent QPF way east. Still some details to work out as to how much of TX will get this, but something is at least happening.
  14. Chris Robbins is actually mentioning this one on FB, which is promising. He has stayed mum about the previous events. Maybe DFW can get something accumulating, no matter how small. Wish we can just get a tad more moisture.
  15. I can’t even see flurries and I’m under the lift. Nothing. I got more with the flurries we had a week or two ago.
  16. Back north my home turf got upgraded to a winter storm warning in KS, so fingers crossed. They have been in a major snow drought as well, but finally my dad will get to use his snowblower for the first time in years. I think our stuff is coming from the west. Hopefully it is a bit stronger than progged.
  17. Model trends for today aren't great. NAM is backing off. Will have to see. In any case, some mood flurries at least are likely.
  18. Up north Wichita is upping snow amounts for their area. Hopefully good omens for a chance of more than just a flurry or two tomorrow.
  19. 78 hours below freezing IMBY. Pretty nice for this far south. No precip though aside from a light glaze and a few flurries (more snow grains).
  20. WWA for north of DFW for almost too light to mention freezing drizzle, but it will finally get truly cold for a couple days.
