It's only enjoyable to me if I'm near or inside water. Other than that, it's too damned hot. High 70s - mid 80s are perfect.

I did notice this morning that the local TV met in Altoona disagrees with the weather apps for the weekend, as the lowest she had Saturday going was 60-61. My Google App currently shows 49.

Looking more and more like we bake the second half of summer. Took my kid to the amusement park yesterday and had to walk over the water park to get there and it was hot and miserable yesterday and the water park was closed. Going to be cool and gray next week when it opens because of course it will lol

Holy fucking Christ, you people are exhausting. It's May 15th. I've always considered swimming in May a bonus. It's been 50 degrees for the last month, that pattern seems to be breaking (and it's going to be in the low 60s next weekend so it's not even going to be extended warmth) and here we are. Bitching about the pool water. I may need to take a break.

Dear Christ I hope that was the end of the gloomy weather. Seeing the clear sky this morning when waking up lifted my spirits, but also made signing into work difficult.

Missed this one earlier. I think that graphic hits the nail on the head, and is in agreement with AccuWeather's seasonal graphic. I think the NY/PA border or just north of it may be where the fronts roll along and the most of PA probably stays pretty dry.

Euro shows Philadelphia flirting with the century mark this weekend.

My ten day shows 49 for the high next Thursday before the heat shows up for next weekend. Next weekend is opening weekend at Delgrosso's in Tipton, which is basically a babysitter for the true central. Last year opening weekend was cloudy and damp with 50s for highs. I'll take next weekend's current outlook
