I did not say no chance, right now it looks like 10-15 chance next week. Better than 0% like this week.

Right. I live on the northwest side of DC in suburban MD, but we've had some good March events over the years. Not "double digits" for the month outside of 2014, but solid events in the early to middle part of the month, and even some halfway decent ones later in March (twice it snowed on my birthday, March 25, like 3-4"!). Just off the top of my head, the good events I recall occurring in this area in March were 2009 (I actually lived in DC proper at that time), 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022. That's a lot of March events, in my opinion, even if not huge.

Today is the day we start say goodbye to our snow. Fun while it lasted. I enjoyed driving around in a winter wonderland.

Flurries left now from the band that is now south of me. It was okay. Lost it's umph before it got to me. Sidewalks didn't cave. Overall a good snow. Good snowpack on the ground heading into a below freezing day tomorrow. Woo hoo!

Staring to see the first flakes from the northern stream but afraid it got here too late to see the heavy stuff you all saw an hour ago. May eek out .25 of an inch. Meh.

It's like these bands are taking forever to turn. lol. Time is of the essence. They are shrinking.

Just had a streamer roll through. It was puking fatties and the winds really picked up. It was near white out conditions at times. Only lasted a couple of minutes but wow that was fun!
Been a while since I've seen that phrase!

Temps dropping. Was able to use my 3 year old NEW electric battery powered snowblower today!!! Woo hoo! The box was in bad shape but it was wrapped in plastic. lol.
Last chance to shovel with wet pavement before all this solidifies.

Strong yellows in those bands. I'm looking at the one forming over Hagerstown. That may get the folks north of DC. The one directly to the west may slide too far south. Hoping it has enough northern edge to clip DC.
