  1. It is absolutely roaring outside here in Dorchester
  2. You weren't forecasted to see anything significant
  3. OKX leads me to believe we will see some tor warnings within the hour. Potential areas include S ECT and S RI. Not sure how BOX will handle without radar. I think the high wind warning should have been expanded.
  4. @WiltonPoliceCT The following roads are completely closed until further notice Route 7 - between Honey Hill Rd & Old Mill Rd (Georgetown Section) Route 33 (Ridgefield Rd) - between Belden Hill Rd & Middlebrook Farm Rd Sturges Ridge Rd near # 35 Newtown Tpke - near Cavalry Hill Rd Warncke Rd
  5. Wilton CT has roads shut down. Trees in roadways. Sounds like 65 mph at Ledge Light. People starting to report outages.
  6. heads up to @Ginx snewx, looks like some bad stuff heading to Moosup
  7. Wow. really impressive strengthening in just the last few minutes on radar and velocity south of Montauk.
  8. Going to get a long of meh's tonight before people go to bed. I think many areas in SNE rock tonight but they will be asleep. For eastern areas, slightly different story. Radar looking ominous for some big gusts. Obvious not doomsday, or historic, but fun. Better than meh October weather... We'll get some big gusts and maybe a spin up somewhere.
  9. There is some vicious looking stuff south of SNE. Looks confined to east of 495, perhaps a PVD-BOS line. Cape Ann will obviously be involved. Hope I can stay up to see what happens. Doubt I'll make it.
  10. Nowcast says lock it in for coastal communities and a few miles inland at the least. It's Goin to absolutely rip. The question is further inland and the backside CAA. And how high do we rip? I think many will be without power in a lot of coastal areas.
  11. Already seeing me so low like structures booming
  12. That's a real lifesaver. If there are actually any tors, at least they can see a portion of the area now.......
  13. Are you serious? That's down too? Well then....
  14. The fact there is no radar... What timing. Thank god for the TDWR
  15. This should still be a significant event for, say east of 495. Obviously the coastal areas have been discussed. But this has the potential of causing some damage due to wind direction, trees still have leaves. It should be interesting to see how it works out.
  16. It doesn't make sense unless something tracks right across the area.
  17. Starting to buy in. Seems like Cape and south shore locked in for some big gusts. Still skeptical outside of the 'normal' windy spots.
