Taken a few days to let the events of the eclipse set in. Talking with my wife we were both taken by the stillness of the event. It is cool to see the crowds and hear the joy and excitement in everyone, but I am forever grateful to have had the chance to do it from our home. A home that reminds me daily of the beauty of the world, to have sat there during the eclipse was something I didn’t know would matter so much to me and my family. Very grateful.

That was impressive last night. Blinding snow, 5” in 2 hours on Burke. Tipped over standing at one point, thought I was still going warp speed
Down to 10F now, still sideways snow. What a week to remember!
Heading Rangeley to check conditions this weekend. Should be decent.

Elevation for the win indeed. Above 2K the surf is fine, dramatic switch to gradually freezing slop below.

Somehow the Mt picked up a few inches of dense snow last night. Dog and I were shocked to walk in blowing snow this morning.
Skiing was better, 6” would fix all that, so fingers crossed.
Starting to appreciate the longer sunlight now
