  1. LOL. Not in the Atlanta area. Overperformed there. Only thing that ruined it, was the transition to rain, which was expected. Me 40 miles south of ATL wound up with around 1/2" to an 1", then it flipped to freezing rain all afternoon until around 10 pm last night. Everything was glazed over with a decent amount of ice. Fortunately we stayed at 32 overnight, most of the ice is gone, but whatever snow we had is just about gone too. I expect it will all be gone by this afternoon. Nice little storm, more than anyone has had in a while. We should all be thankful.
  2. 31 degrees, and rain. A coating of ice on everything. Guessing the power is about to go out for a lot in the Atlanta area. Getting bad
  3. Been sitting at 32 for a couple hours, and the rain has started again. I'm amazed at how quickly whatever snow/sleet we had has melted on paved surfaces.
  4. Whatever snow/sleet we had is disappearing in front of my eyes. Sidewalks and streets reappearing.
  5. With the rain and temps at 33, the melting has begun. Wound up with about 3/4 inch. Could be gone by this evening if temps make it to 35 as forecast.
  6. Welp its just good old rain now, temp at 32. Fun while it lasted.
  7. Temp creeping up. 32, with sleet and rain now mixing in. Gonna be a sht show here soon.
  8. Anyone in greensboro GA??? radar looks like they are getting slammed.
  9. Its all about where the heavy bands set up. I'm only at a half inch, but someone on here 3 miles to my north has 2 inches.
  10. Lots of pink starting to pop up on the radar south of ATL. I have sleet, and rain currently
  11. The heavy bands keep setting up south of ATL this morning, seems like heavier precip by me. That should start to head up your way.
  12. This forum is obviously full of Carolinians, barely barely a peep from GA. EDIT, seems like they woke up.
  13. I was thinking it has it nailed for my area. 30 miles south of ATL. Sleeting 29 degrees. About half inch on the ground. Should flip to rain soon, closer it gets.
  14. 33 with heavy rain/sleet 30 miles south of ATL. Radar shows snow. Going back to bed...lol
  15. Unfortunately, I think zr is inevitable at some point. Metro ATL and surrounding areas are gonna be a mess.
  16. Sitting at 33 degrees, was supposed to be at 28. Getting concerned about the temps.
  17. Be safe! Well I just hit 50 in senoia, with a high forecast of 44, so anything is possible with the temp variations.
  18. Hrrr showing just above freezing for my area for most of the storm, which should cut most of the zr down. Hopefully that happens. I'm ok with wet snow or sleet.
