We had a nasty hailstorm in Clarksburg. The ground was blanketed in hail within minutes. Definitely the strongest storm I’ve seen here in the last few years.

 Despite the event being disappointing, I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood during the best rates around 2:00 AM.  Final total was a little more than 3.1”

That was also me! Even though nowadays I primarily concentrate on mathematical modeling, my fascination with weather has persisted into my 50s.

This event is absolutely amazing.  I have followed the necessary procedures to ensure that the reporting I generate follows to the guidelines. As of 3:30 PM, we have already surpassed 6.2 inches in this part of Clarksburg.

Clarksburg, MD  Jan 19, new snow(second storm) as of 12:15 PM 5.7" and counting!  pleasantly surprised to see almost 10" of snow from two storms.
