Well, in 1930, people in Boston were thirsty, so they gathered all the local antivax smallpoxers in the towns of Petersham, New Salem, Hardwick, Ware, Belchertown, Shutesbury, Pelham. Then they filled all the towns up with water and drown them and it became the quabbin reservoir. Now Boston drinks the blood of the dead.
and i enjoy every drop

Silly question--but one I need to ask now that I've moved. What do you consider Eastern Mass? Everything east of Worcester County?
Boston is a safe guess

Well, at least E Mass will get snow that they don’t even want. Or it will just rain.
this winter so far that wouldn't surprise me at all

so looks like I'll have some to deal with the rain/snow line.....I'm sure it will find a way to be a straight cold rain

Snowpack gone. The most efficient pack-eater I’ve seen this area, this time of the year. Good news is it’s been replaced by grass—green grass. So could be worse.
Looks and feels like late March. Not a shock considering it’s looked and felt like this since Mowvember with very few exceptions. Weenies rather stay glued to comp monitors and models rather than take a walk outside and see what Mother Nature is saying.

Last week when it(IVT)was forecast, it never happened, probably the same this time.
do they ever?

A slight chance of snow showers between 8am and noon, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected
and it still finds a way to rain lol

Sometimes I wonder why we do all this fussing over anticipating an inevitable outcome. From an outsider's perspective, it's pretty irrational behavior.
For those who aren't meteorologists/ interested in actually forecasting and/or those who get disproportionally emotionally invested in fantasy computer images (ie. the neurotic types), it might honestly make sense to not track storms and just enjoy what comes at a day-by-day level, save for a BOX discussion or two. Unless you have meaningful friends on this site, then the story changes.
Just thinking out loud a little.
what you just said is the complete opposite of this site

No issues with sitting on the deck enjoying it. 60 degrees yesterday was fine. The snow will come and by FEB I will probably be here begging for mercy.
this kind of talk will not be tolerated here lol
