Hey guys! I've been developing a storm report system on my website and I was wondering if any of y'all had any suggestions on ways I can improve this system! Do any of y'all have any suggestions? Maybe a way to implement a map for displaying users submitted reports? Thanks!

I don't know of a solution that would not include displaying some sort of personal weather station data on a separate device, even if the station wasn't yours. I do know that Weather Bug or Weather Underground has good data that you can display on your tv or computer pretty well and MeteoBlue has a widget that you can display current conditions and forecasts on any device including your tv 24/7. I'm sure there might be a device that you can buy and that would work as a visual interior screen and display the NWS website data or another visual weather display. Hope this helps

Hi everyone!
I've been working on building an online weather forecasting game where players make point forecasts that are automatically scored based on their proximity to storm reports. There's a leaderboard for each forecast period, so players can compete to see who's made the best forecast. There are also weekly leaderboards as well as an all-time leaderboard.
I made the game public this month, and would like to know what you guys think! The website is https://wxdarts.com/.
Below is an example of what the result for a forecasting period might look like - arrows are forecasts and dots are reports.
Fancy, I like it! Great work

I'm noticing that too, strange.

Anyone heard of the Wheel of Tor? I've been studying up on that recently since the start of May...

Anyone have any thoughts on the next big severe weather system that could move in this May? We had a good one on Monday (May 3rd) and Tuesday (May 4th) that went through the south but we could be seeing a lull for a bit it seems. Also anyone who is interested in brushing up on tornadoes here's a great place to do that!

For me it would be heat bursts.
That's cool. I haven't heard much about that but it looks interesting now as I research it. Have you heard of the mysterious world wide sounds? Do you have any theories on what it could be?

What are some of the strangest weather phenomenon you know of? My favorite natural formation would be the roll cloud, and the strangest weather event would be ball lightning. How about everyone else? Comment below your answers!
Also has anyone else heard of the world-wide mysterious sounds? Like the world-wide hum and the mysterious trumpet sounds? Comment below if you have a theory on what it is!

What a day for some in Texas. With 11 tornadoes reported, a couple of those being strong, Texas has seen its first big storm of the season. Praying for protection for those who were impacted. Stay safe everyone.
