  1. This on visible looks like grumpy old man trying to pet his wife.
  2. She’s looking to feast on LI as the highs split, you can tell by the isobar placement.
  3. I’m not a hype person, but looking at vis. sat, you can see the cold air eating away around SC/ NC
  4. The eyewall did not disappear. It’s working on itself, you can see the inner cloud wall developing.
  5. Will this thing actually make a landfall or meander just south of LI/NJ ?
  6. Remember it’s meteorology and not modelogy, that low pressure is already lapping up the cold air as it sits over warm-ish water. It’s gonna force the high to weaken and split, funneling the same low pressure at the same time.
  7. The fact, if correct, initialization is lower than expected, it’s punching through that high.
  8. Scooters “banana high” is literally getting broken, evenly.
  9. The is going to be bad, the fact the broad and oddly cold high pressure is splitting into a two engine system as the tropical low pressure comes north and hits a wall it spilts evenly, not allowing it to leave in either direction so it’s lost and there is a Full Moon this weekend.
  10. It will shift north about 50-100 miles if every global is correct, take the blend and since the “trend is your friend”, this will rival the blizzard of 1978, minus the cold. Usually, anomalously cold temps and a kiss of tropical air are not forecasted well.
  11. It is already dividing the high pressure symmetrically.
  12. I need some in-depth science. Would the cooler air OR water vapor enhancement add to intensity more? There is Beauty in the Beast.
  13. I am hungry, I hope my words are edible. the actual meteorology is impressive.
  14. I remember the NGM, like Pepperidge Farms. [ok, Grandpa]
  15. Also, the ticks north pregame, mean the north trend isn’t done. [my forecasting experience is old enough to legally vote]
  16. The dynamics are dynamic, one will not know with certainty till the first quarter of the game.
  17. This is a Nowcast storm, but generally, the trend hasn’t been friendly overnight as game time approaches.
  18. I really don’t at this point in my life. But like writing, it’s seems it does have writing on some sort of wall.
  19. If the high pressure over SE Canada does a 50/50, we are in quite the pickle for us “flat-landers”
