It's amazing it was Euro vs the world and EURO appears to have won.
Do you think if it was Euro with a snowy solution vs the world it would still win?
Everywhere but the mid - Atlantic

Honestly do you think this is 2010 and a storm can be predicted accurately 3 days out?
This is 2024. Nothing is easy.
Things may change but if not we just go on…. I am a firm believer that this current weather system must be gone befor it can get a handle on the next system. We will all see.

Some of us live there and don’t want anything to do with further south and east. Just sayin ..
I understand and was just expressing my thoughts.

All should be hoping for a bit more southern and eastern track. To my uneducated eye , at the rate it is moving north and west It may only be the western side and pioints west of the blue ridge having snow. Just sayin…

I95 seems no longer IN the goalposts but rather is itself one of the posts… needle thin path to a mostly snow event may remain in the realm of reason. But if the incoming euro is bad and the runs through 00z don’t start a trend back to the good, might be exiting that realm of reason. Might be taking down the tree after all…
This is normal. We have to thread the needle on miller B type systems.

This was gleaned from th 3:50 Am disco from Sterling.
QuoteMost likely snowfall amounts are currently projected at less than 2 inches for most areas, but both a low end scenario of little to no snow /and/ a high end scenario of several inches are still on the table.
Just sayin’

I was busy at a work meeting at Crooked Crab Brewing. What did I miss. Everything fall apart? GFS collapse? ICON sucks? Euro blows chunks? The Canuck model is trash? Where’s the JMA? CRAS? Panasonic? Samsung? Sony? Speaking of trash… @stormtrackertrashed in Mexico?! Imma go with damn right he is!! Anyway—pick a GD model and ride that shit hard! Oh. And happy Wednesday! Cheers? Cut me the F off. Bu-bye.
I now wasted 42 seconds of my life reading this and it is my own @#{:;}( fault.

i think another point about this system is how much of it will stick after a week in the 50s. i know it can if temps fall quick enough, but it's another variable working against us here. i've been looking at the gfs periodically and was trying to figure out how it's even getting that stripe of snow. i guess it's due to mid level forcing because the surface low is ots.
Well let me tell you about the 14.5”.of non sticking storm Jan 3 after all warm December. I literally wore shorts on Sunday and had long johns on Monday. It can happen will it ? Mother Nature knows. .

Try not a flake just outside Fredericksburg. So be thankful for anything you get. Mama Nature will do what she wants weather you like it or not. Pun intended.
