Been steady at 30 degrees almost all morning in Gainesville. Coming down good now and driveway is almost fully dusted.

Picking up intensity in Gainesville. Cars now topped and edge of driveway starting to fill in.

This is my first winter having moved from Manassas to Gainesville. I'm hoping now being slightly more west will help here.

Coming down really hard in Manassas, really thick flakes. Streets have caved.

Seems to be switching to something more wet. Roads and sidewalks had caved but now melted with whatever's falling now.

That band ripped through Manassas near the Fairfax County line. Still coming down hard, eyeballing near 2 if not more.

Temp actually dropped to 28 in Gainesville. Was sitting at 30 all morning. I'd call it moderate to heavy snow now. Everything now is fully dusted
