Thanks for the sarcasm but I say again. This is the only location in American forum where such happens. 

It would be nice to come to a weather forum and see weather chatter. Every time I click on this region( where I once lived and have many friends) to check, I get sent to here because this is all there is to this forum. 
I know, I can go to main heading and search for Weather, but goodness..

The continual row of Upper level lows is impressive so far this winter. It has been a spell since we have seen such.  The problem is , of course, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION   Any hope for us snow lovers in Georgia ( outside of the mountains) ?  

Regardless of 5-10 mph strengthening, if it fills in solid all around and maintains it means effects on both sides of the landfall. 

Been trying to coax some of that 15-20 inch rains to East central Ga.  My grass burned this summer and we are still underperforming with our rain amounts    A good 3-6” rain would be good here in Metter.  But no matter how far the track has shifted our rain total projection has not changed much. Most of the rain is going to our N East

I wish this on no one. But if Houston was in the bullseye it might be catastrophic

Is it possible Thursday becomes an event like Feb 8 for N Ga?  There is enough cold if the moisture is not suppressed below.  Or is we just being played. :-).

Severe weather a good possibility next week

Looking down the line to next week. I live in Metter Ga.  I am getting concerned about our chances for severe weather next Thursday. Any thoughts?  I know a lot can change in 6 days so I am hoping for the best

Time frame through 6th - 9th

although this not a Miller A set up is there hope for a 1-3 inch snowfall for the mid south and even the south?  Even maybe a dusting to mid Ga?

Now it seems it is becoming more likely there will be severe weather in Alabama , especially I-20 corridor southward.  Nam is showing awfully high STP #s of up to 9

I was looking and hoping at the last GFS the 12z.  I saw some freezing temps for about the 8th of October for as far as middle Ga....   Hoping it repeats in the future runs

Since when did we believe the GFS?  Most i know shows the Euro outlook, i know Spann does even though he uses the GFS for reference mostly

Even here in NW Georgia we feel a stir of excitement for Tuesday.  We have seen nothing, but yesterday we had snizzle for about 20 minutes.  We are rooting for the wave to form along the front

I lived in Crestline, Ohio in 2004=2005 time frame  and we received 17 inches from a storm sort of like this one  I now live in NW Georgia.  Are you expecting totals that high? 

The 25th 05 26th.....look at the teleconnections. The EPS and GEFS agree on this. Every one of these goes into the most favorable position they could, all synchronized perfectly.
