  1. Nicest day of the year hands down. 70 beautiful degrees with crystal blue skies. Who wouldn’t enjoy this all year around. I would event trade this with heavy wind driven snowstorm... maybe
  2. Plenty of thunder and lightning heavy rain a bit of wind here in Mount Kisco. I guess spring is finally here. Looks like a nice day incoming. Enjoy it
  3. That’s a nice line of thunderstorms about to move into our area. I woke up to use the bathroom now I will stay up and see, I’ll report back in a bit.
  4. Yesterday ended up being a good looking day. Had a bbq hung out with the family it was perfect. Today coming down to the city it was foggy but it looks like it’s burning off. A lot of rain coming in the next couple of weeks
  5. This weather is too humid 70 degrees with high humidity not the way I wanted my Saturday to be. It’s like hard to breathe with this air! We all want warm weather but this humidity is really annoying!
  6. Cold morning in Mount Kisco this morning. 38 degrees outside my house. Kinda refreshing headed to the city a bit warmer but much cooler than yesterday. Looking forward to some rainy nights.
  7. It’s going to be dry heat with sunny skies it’s not too bad
  8. SnoSki14 Posted November 13, 2018 I'm going to enjoy my 20 minutes of sleet before it turns to a cold rain. Honestly I'm just happy the pattern is so active. November will be well AN Precip wise , it already is. qg_omega Posted November 13, 2018 On 11/13/2018 at 10:15 AM, Snowlover11 said: while im not expecting anything great seeing flakes in the air will be nice to see. I think we can pull off a coating to 2 inches at the start before going to sleet/rain Merry
  9. This is a 4-6 inch snowfall to sleet for five minutes and some rain at the tail end.
  10. We’ve been through this a million times you’re not a rookie gfs is horrible. The only thing GfS seems to be decent is the track
  11. It’s the same crap it’s thermals are terrible so take it with a grain of salt, the best model for thermals is the nam but it’s not in range
  12. There’s still plenty of time. I’d like to believe the cmc is the best case scenario barely any rain. Still plenty of time... btw weatherpruf dan76 you’re being ignored cause your analysis in my opinion is the analysis of a 4 year old.
  13. We go through this every time and snow overperforms and it ends as some light rain and drizzle I’m willing to actually take bets now
  14. There’s no sleet with this system there’ll be snow and rain that’s it I don’t care what the models show I don’t think there’ll be sleet maybe for five minutes as snow is transitioning to rain
  15. There’s never any sleet with these systems maybe for five minutes. It’s either snow to freezing rain or snow to rain and two minutes of sleet
  16. I don’t think that’s true, imo this will be mostly a snow event... than once the main slug of moisture goes in the water, the coastal takes over and moves out quickly like the navgem depicts...it may end as some rain or sleet shower and/or drizzle
  17. Although the gfs FV3 18z a.k.a gfs para show heavy rain at the end of the system, it also shows some incredible snow rates for the whole region the first 6-7 hours of snow. I would think these rates could accumulate 4/inches an hr. Take a look below...
  18. The question was who called for 70? I know now it was you and it’s fair at least you answered. The pattern setting up, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better outlook for the next month at least! have fun with the snow and the tracking of course!
  19. Who called for 70 tomorrow? Looks like we won’t even hit more than 64 somewhere in Staten Island of Newark. but New York City should top at 59. Other city areas like Staten Island briefly could hit 64 than to freezing tomorrow night.
  20. I disagree this setup always overperforms since I’ve been following these systems. It’s always a good thump to some light showers and drizzle. Every single time I can remember except November we got a great thump to some light showers. November storm it turned to heavy rain because the ocean temps were too warm.
