Only thing showing anything close to a gradient look is you beloved EPS. Do you ever look at anything else??? I have my doubts

Semantics? So a three week torch is now reduced to 7-10 days? I realize for some it’s going to be hard to admit they were wrong but when you hug one model and the MJO, you lose some. No biggie. In the end when it’s snowing and cold nobody will really care.

Notice late last week we were told it’s shades closed for two weeks, maybe three. Nothing before Christmas. Hopefully the last week winter returns. Now the euro huggers started backtracking. Well maybe Christmas. Maybe the 24th. Maybe by the 21st if we are lucky. Predictable

Nobody said a relaxation wasn’t coming. But some on here were punting the rest of December and early January. We were supposed to have a huge cutter this weekend with howling south winds, sipping adult beverages on the beaches. That isn’t happening either. Outside shot at some snow for a few during this close the shades period. A big fat meh torch.

You mean the same eps that parked a one eyed pig over Alaska for two weeks and canceled winter two weeks ago?? You guys sure get hung up on an ensemble that has not done very well this cold season.

You act surprised? Some were advocating the torch / close the shades period of was going to be meh and short in duration. I know the EPS said otherwise but you know my posistion about the EPS

Were you not here yesterday?? Many posts about not getting into a better pattern till January 1st. Will take awhile to get rid of the pacific puke. Models always rush things. I think everyone realizes after the relaxation a better pattern is coming. The only area of disagreement is when. I think most of you have snow before Christmas. Probably another storm between Christmas and New Years Day. But I do agree that until the 20th or so it is very boring and normal to slightly above next weekend

Exactly. That is the point. Despite what some are now saying today, yesterday they were punting 3 weeks. Now all of the sudden we have them saying Christmas give or take a day. Some people’s forecast switching like the EPS

That’s funny. At one time HM was welcome here. Sadly the METS left here can only look at model runs and tell us what to expect. Perhaps HM could send you a jock strap of his. Maybe you could grow into someday

Yea the GEFS and GEPS look better for sure. The GEFS have been doing a better job the last month or so than the EPS. Certainly no bitterly cold air in site for awhile but I think once past the 20th or so it will be much better for snow chances than the next week or 10 days.
