  1. Juicy GFS run. Another 10 millibars stronger and we’re talking snow even for suburbs of New York City.
  2. That’s close to something big for the suburbs! Look at that high getting squeezed!
  3. Central Park winter prediction 54 inches of snow November-2 inches (temps: above average) December- 12 inches (temps: above average) January- 18 inches (temps: normal) February- 22 inches (temps:below average) March-trace (temps: way above average) April- zilch (temps: normal)

  5. I forget the last time they went with below average? I mean global warming is definitely considered but they’ve been wrong a lot for the northeast.
  6. NOAA is the worst. I’d go with warmer than usual but more than above average snowfall.

  8. The storm will end up being rain. But there may be a follow up spin up storm that can drop snow even to our neck of the woods. There’ll be plenty of cold air with the second system.

  12. Can’t wait for the real winter. I want long lasting storms I don’t want heavy snow and done in 6 hours I want a 36 hrs blizzard followed by snow showers for days
  13. I predict Central Park will get 54 inches of snow this winter 2 inches for November, 18 inches December, 20 for January and 14 for February. March will get a trace.
