@Maureen Light snow continues here. About 2.5" of accumulation. Temp 27
Thank you! Would have been even lovelier if the Christmas lights were still up, but I’ll take it!

Maybe the mods can consider changing the thread title to the usual as many people seem to have forgotten this is the banter thread, and instead are making the monthly threads unreadable.

Still quite gusty out there. Was smart to keep the advisories out til this evening
Very! Several people around town are going to have to hunt for their recycling cans. Then there are the people further down the street who put their recyclables out LAST NIGHT, cans and bottles which are now decorating a variety of lawns.

Surprised you didn't get something like our 2" in Metuchen, although I recall seeing the radar indicating it changed to rain to my east earlier than here. Could being ~8 miles ENE and an earlier changeover and a little elevation (my house is at 110') make that difference?
Yes, not too far from you but a difference. Unfortunately! Coating didn’t last long here.

And it was very lovely. For a few moments!

At 3.12 at the moment with a steady, heavy rain picking up again.
@Rtd208 are you out there? Hope you’re doing OK!

2.58 inches thus far, backyard and garage flooded. (no surprise here in Carteret)

In the 11-15 day range. How many times have we been though this?
At least as many times as you’ve posted in the past 24 hours to do nothing but argue.

It's very low, but there's still a little ragweed pollen out there too. It takes more than a couple brief light to moderate freezes to kill off these annoying things. The bugs and ragweed won't be gone until we get more consistent freezing temps.
Ragweed refuses to die this year, it’s miserable!

Anyone else still dealing with allergies? Ragweed does a number on me every year, but this year is especially bad.
