Even Petersburg area only gets maybe a dusting to half inch. I'm checking out. Maybe we'll get surprised.

Hope you're right. NAM and 12z HRRR show nothing for RVA. RGEM get an inch or two in RVA

No changes in the 18z GFS. Still pretty dry/light.

Sharp cut off north of Richmond which is typical to see a sharp cut off for the area.

18Z NAM looks like it went north or at least brings more heavier precip into VA.

It wouldn't surprise me if it goes more north than forecasted. I don't think it will be a repeat of December 2018 though.

GFS is very dry.

Considering how awful this winter has been, I will take 1-3" and run with it.

12z NAM still like NC and SE VA. RVA is right on the line on getting a decent amount out of it.

Is the NAM onto something or is it overdoing it? Seems to be on its own right now.

ICON looks like it's an agreement with CMC and GFS. Most of the snow is in NC, a little in SE VA. None for RVA

Yeah, we'll see what the models show tonight. These things tend to go north at least a little, not expecting a big jump north, but I could see a little north trend.

So its UK/EURO vs GFS/NAM/CMC. Want to be hopeful but it's hard to go against the UK and EURO when they are in agreement. We'll see.

12z UKMET says NO. My guess is the EURO will follow.

CMC says NO, maybe a light event in HR.

Did it go north? Or does it have more precip on the northern end of it? Comparing the 6z to 12z on TT, the lows look to be in similar locations, maybe a slight bump north. Could be my old eyes though.

I'm curious to see what the midday models show. The NAM really likes Thursday, others not so much. The latest EURO had nothing. See what the models show today.

Not surprised. I'm sure the next GFS run will have nothing. Throw the GFS away if it has no ensemble support

At least we're getting digital snow

If we could just get a moderate event I would be happy with that. Time is running out.
