Wow, that’s bold this far out.
I would have went with 40-60% that amount at this range.

12z Euro coming in with heavy snow of 11-14 by Monday night.
Tulsa NWS chiclets page at 4.5 inches both Sunday and Monday for 9 total.
Yea i thought they might start upping that page with today's data. I was right. Their CWA all max color on that. I don't believe ive ever seen that before.

I wonder if GFS temps are too “warm” if we have that kind of snowpack. Even with half that amount of snow on the ground.
Will be interesting to see what NWS and local mets start saying.I dont expect to much from them about it. Could be wrong though

I think this whole thing is all insane, this could only happen if we indeed got a good snow on the ground. The ratios would be incredible at these kind of temps or even at 20 degrees for that matter.

Models are crazy with some of these temps.

nothing but flakes here as the temp has hovered 34ish . I hope the next event moves far enough north to produce a nice accumulation of snow.
Doesnt seem like its going happen when we need it. lol

It's being discussed internally (NWSChat), but we'll see what actually comes out with the afternoon package.
They are probably thinking about the last bust.. and that was just a watch. I would wait for 00z data.

What's worse, I moved here from Dallas, and this is my 3rd winter up here now...which have all been virtually fruitless. I thought when I moved 4 hours north I'd get a lot more! Haha. But you are right, there are a lot of people who are happy today and I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade...but the weather enthusiast in me is crying. Just one, 3+ incher and I'll be satisfied until next winter.
Yea and look Winter Storm Warnings In the deep south.. Im ready for spring im tired of everything this winter.

Indeed. even half of this would be excellent over the next 2 storms.
