Was in downtown today for video purposes and it rained for 80% of the time, lol. Radar would make you think it was snowing, nope.

The tread marks of SLPs over LOT's head is growing tiresome. 12Z suite shows no let up with this rain, zr pattern. Cold rain till mid March seems likely
Hopefully we continue with cold rain so we can immediately start spring in mid March.

Hasn't there been some guidance showing troughs in the west from mid March on? Like Euro weeklies? We can always hope for a more active storm season than we've had of late.
Yep. Late March --> April I believe. I'm ready for a nice severe season. :p

Went from around 10" to just piles in parking lots these last couple days. Cold front coming through now.

Precip is hauling ass. Not sure we're gonna get the big totals in extreme N IL. Guess we'll see. Seeing pixie dust reports too, bleh.

Hopefully we can get a nice severe/tornado event so we can say we had a tornado outbreak at the beginning and end of winter. Lol

This run looks to still run along the IL/WI border.
Seems a tick south compared to previous runs. Nothing huge, though.

Can't wait for the thaw during February. Even though N IL has gotten some good events, C Cook to the city have been screwed. My biggest snowfall of the year is 5". Zzz, I'm ready for 2/28/17 2.0
