As a mid-Atlantic resident, I only check in on this forum a few times a year. A couple of times in winter to live vicariously when you are puking dendrites while we got freezing drizzle for 9 hours, and also the week before me and my family make our annual trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Man, I just read through about 20 pages of absolute misery. It sounds like this summer has been torture for many of you. I am looking forward to 68/66 to provide some relief from our 97/83. If we can squeeze out 4 days with sun I will be ecstatic. What are the odds? We will be on MV from 7/16-7-23. Reversion to the mean has to kick in at some point, right?

Temp down from 29 to 27 in the last hour. Have not ventured out to measure the sleet, but I would guesstimate around 1.5" of sleet. I always set the mower down to 2" for the last mow in early December to help me measure

Snow mixing in now with the sleet. 25F

Is the radar supposed to fill in at all? It does not look great for the .8-1.0” of QPF forecasted for my area. 24F and sleet.

looks like we picked the right spot to plant our roots in the MA region. Not sure how long you've lived here but I can tell you from 21 years it's as bad as you think it is from the snow perspective
21 years as well. We will always have 2003, 2010, and 2016. Looks like we should be due for another big one in 2022.

its very close...like so close that you might be reporting snow tomorrow and I am reporting nothing. I fully expect that but still it describes the situation at hand.
What time are we expecting the 2nd wave to begin fringing us in WPWC?

Finally snowing in Haymarket again, just in time for the sun angle to destroy anything frozen that falls.

Just finishing up Day 2 on Martha’s Vineyard and it has been 2 spectacular beach days. Sunshine and temps between 75-80, absolutely phenomenal. I love New England summers!!
