earthlight
Decent show tonight. Sat outside for an hour or so and observed around 20 meteors. A few of them were bright orange/yellow with long trails. Pretty sweet.
patrick05
ugh, only saw 1... my camera saw two but they were all fuzzy and underexposed... high clouds have moved in here and Orion has also hidden behind a tree... will it still be as good tomorrow?? earthlight
Doesn't look like there were any unexpected peaks or overnight surprises. It was a typical Orionid show...exciting but a little less so than the bigger showers. Usually the 25/hr peak is short lived with the Orionids. We have a few good meteor showers coming up with minimal moon interference this winter.
