Hard to find to find historical weather Data

[Zemu Glacier]

I've been looking for a while for historical snowfall(or even snow water equivalent) data for

both the Patagonia area and the Himalayas(preferable around Sikkim and just the southeastern

Himalayas in general). Suffice to say there is almost no such data that I can find which I

guess shouldn't be surprising.

But having said that is there anyone out there that can point me to any such historical data for

either region? If not here is probably a slightly easier question which is would you happen to

know say within the last 20-25 years which years have been noted for being heavy snow years

for either the Patagonia area or the Southeastern Himalayas?
